Hi!

I’m Richard Brisebois and I write this newsletter.

The title is self-explanatory. I read quite a bit and when I find a piece that might be useful to managers and business owners I share it here.

I try to send something out once a month. The Archive shows that I’m pretty consistent. No spam, no sharing of your details with others, and always free.

Here’s what a reader says: “Some great, short, insights into the way we work and think.”

About me

I've been working with managers for 25+ years. I've been a manager myself. I'm also an entrepreneur and an academic.

I help organizations develop their leaders and managers. I have worked with more than 7,000 managers, leaders, and business owners in over 40 countries, from Fortune 50 executives to SME owners and tribal leaders.

My work focuses on executive coaching as well as designing and facilitating leadership development programs. I use a variety of tools and methods to tailor my approach to each client's needs and context.

I am a first-generation college graduate. I have a B.A. in Linguistics and Modern Languages, an MBA in Finance, and a Ph.D. in Management.

I have been an Associate Professor, a Program Manager, and a Dean at a few U.S. universities. I have also been a visiting professor and guest lecturer at 12 universities in 7 countries on 4 continents, delivering classes and keynotes in three languages.
