They whisper it at breaks, like confessing a secret:
"I'm first-generation college too. Working class background."
Then comes the real admission:
I look around the room wondering how I got here. Everyone else seems to belong.
My response is always the same:
You're in the room.
Someone wanted you there. You're already here.
Questioning this fact is self-sabotage.
This isn't mysticism. It's physics.
Your presence is real.

The energy spent explaining yourself is energy drained.
Yes, bias exists. Power structures are real.
Imposter syndrome haunts capable leaders. Privilege opens doors.
And—
You're still here.
That fact stands.
You don’t need to justify your presence.
You need to shape it.
"We exist first, and it's up to us to shape that existence." — Sartre
The room is waiting.
What will you do with it?
Longer reflection on the blog. But first, this:
How much energy are you spending questioning your place—
when you could be claiming it?
Whenever you’re ready
